I stayed in Aksaraya area in Istanbul two years ago and place is kind of like a red light district with no red lights. Most of the clubs in Aksaraya have escorts, but prices are very high (up to 500 TL per night) and you can get scammed very easily by big bouncers. 

How ever there is cheap option, which is streetwalkers in Aksaraya. Price for a street prostitute is someting like 50-150 TL depending her looks. Problem is that you need to pay extra for hotel security if you bring her to your room. So this is why you should rent a private apartment from the Aksaraya to make things easier. You will see more streetwalkers after midnight in the area. I have also seen some streetwalkers at the Taksim Square. But they looked like drug users.
