Afwerkplek An afwerkplek is the name of a location where soliciting prostitutes by car from the customer will drive to sex to businesses. These locations are the municipalities designated and are usually located on or near the prostitution area. Often they are specially equipped parking spaces with fences for some privacy. This article is about street prostitution in the Dutch city of Amsterdam. Late 19th century, and possibly much earlier, in the vicinity of the seafront and the Wall on the Old Silk gevigileerd, or street prostitution customers touted.
